Turning a backyard into a resort-style paradise, this Capri pool installation by Buccaneer Pools presents a masterclass in style and functionality.
A great showcase of what can be achieved in a smaller area, Buccaneer Pools Marketing Coordinator Richard Cram said the project brief was to create coastal vibes and a place for relaxation in a Mount Hawthorn backyard as part of a wider makeover.
“While completing a full renovation of their house, the customer decided to tackle a new pool area,” he said.
“As she is a well-known artist, she designed her backyard to fit her own style, and the pool installation was a key feature of this vision.”
Mr Cram said the standout aspect of the installation was its coastal boho look.

“The 4m by 3.2m plunge-style pool was finished in a white colour with green and blue chips, providing a light blue water colour which matched the design brief to create coastal vibes,” he said.
“Large grey pavers were installed around the pool, adding to the area and creating a welcoming and comfortable feel, while the boundary wall has a classic weatherboard look with tapered horizontal edges, which makes for a striking architectural feature.”
An extended bench seat stretches along one side of the pool for easy relaxation and connects with a spacious upper decked area.
Corner entry steps mean unobstructed end-to-end swimming is possible, and a depth ranging from 1.24m to 1.67m makes gradual entry to the water a breeze.
Mr Cram said the homeowner would have an easy time keeping her new investment looking clean and inviting.
“A heat pump keeps the water warm, while the NKD1 Fresh Water System keeps it looking crystal clear,” he said.
“Accessories include an umbrella and deck chairs so people can lounge and enjoy the space.”
