In short: A fibreglass pool is a one-piece shell made off-site and installed in your backyard. Compared with concrete, fibreglass pools install faster, have a smooth surface that is easy to clean and resists algae, and need less upkeep. Buccaneer Pools has made fibreglass pools in WA since 1968, with more than 25 designs from the 4m Malta to the 11m Ultimo.
What is a fibreglass pool?
A fibreglass pool is a pre-manufactured pool shell made from fibreglass reinforced with resin. It is built in a factory, delivered in one piece and placed into an excavated hole. Fibreglass pools are strong, lightweight and resistant to the elements, and they come in shapes and sizes to suit everything from courtyards to large family backyards.

How do I choose a fibreglass pool?
1. Size and shape
Start with your space and how you'll use the pool: cooling off, family fun, entertaining or laps.
For laps, look at long, narrow designs such as the Primo (9m x 2.5m) or Ultimo (11m x 2.5m). For space to play and entertain, the Tasman (9.5m x 4.4m) is the widest pool in the range. Browse the full range.
2. Design features
Think about steps, seating, ledges and wading areas. The Positano Wader and Fontane Wader include a shallow wading zone for little swimmers. A spillway spa can be added to almost any Buccaneer pool for extra relaxation.

Buccaneer pools come in a range of colours, including Sky Blue, Hamptons Blue and Silver Mist. You can add Pool ColourGuard® as an optional upgrade. This patented surface protection offers superior colour retention, acting like sunscreen for your pool. Visit a display centre to see the colours in real light.
