Built to improve a narrow space in a Baldivis backyard, this pool project embraced stylish landscaping to create a feeling of space.

Installed by Buccaneer Swimming Pools, the rectangular Bellagio pool was complemented by a range of resort-style landscaping features.

Buccaneer Pools Marketing Coordinator Erin Grant said the owners wanted to create an outdoor area which included a seating area and unique landscaping.

Criss-crossed paving inset into the lawn bordering the pool creates an impressive focal point, while a round water feature at one end of the pool adds a touch of class.

Ms Grant said the best aspect of the pool was the extended bench seating running along one side and the overall size of the area.

“The slim 2.5m-width of the pool makes it ideal for narrow spaces, which was perfect for the owners, who had limited space due to raised garden beds on one side and the house on the other,” she said.

“The owners’ favourite feature of the area, aside from the pool, is the cedar timber backdrop, which doubles as a large seating area perfect for lounging on when they are not using the pool.”

Buccaneer Swimming Pools’ landscaping supplier Jadan Landscapes dismantled and re-constructed the retaining walls down one side of the pool to support the raised garden beds.

Ms Grant said this pool was coloured with the popular Crystalite ColourGuard in Horizon blue.

“The pool also includes white pearl mosaic waterline tiles to give it that extra design element and wow factor,” she said.
