This Revello pool installation by Buccaneer Pools is a luxurious and streamlined feature of this Floreat client’s backyard, complementing the design of their new home.
Buccaneer Pools Marketing Coordinator Richard Cram said the pool had a sophisticated European style, boasting sleek geometric lines without compromising on features.
“The pool design the owners selected fitted nicely into the area it occupies, and the rectangular design best suited the architecture of the house,” he said.
The pool area was a building site before it was installed, as the owner’s existing house was demolished to make way for their new home.

“The family chose to add a pool for lifestyle reasons,” Mr Cram said. “They wanted to create an area which they could enjoy in summer as a family and also look out onto during winter.
“The owners wanted the pool installation to provide a functional outdoor area for entertainment and activities, as well as an aesthetic design that would add a new visual feature and complement the home.”
To make the pool a connected extension of the house, there is clear and direct indoor/outdoor access, and the landscaping around it adds a touch of tranquillity to the already relaxing scene.
Framing the pool is honed exposed aggregate, while a stone-clad water feature at the deep-end not only conceals the pool equipment, but adds yet another highlight to the backyard installation.
For further convenience, an in-ground pool cover box is of service to make sure the client’s pool area is not obstructed and to remove tripping hazards.
The 6.8m by 3.3m pool offers uninterrupted end-to-end swimming, while there are convenient side-entry steps on each side of the shallow end, along with a step at the deep end, to allow you to navigate the depths ranging from 1.1-1.62m.
When they want to take some time out from swimming laps, a long seating ledge runs down one side, while a safety ledge was added for peace of mind.
The clients and their guests can revel in views of the pool even when not sitting in the direct area, thanks to the sleek glass fencing.
