Buccaneer Pools is in the news! Check out this feature in The West Australian on our Capri swimming pool design in action, and the wide range of work that comes with a great pool installation done right the first time.
Taking the plunge
What was once an unused patch of grass in the front yard of this Duncraig property is now the ultimate entertaining area for homeowners Ross Pratt and Gail Wilton.
With their family beginning to leave the nest, Mr Pratt and Ms Wilton finally saw the opportunity to create their dream courtyard.
Sitting alongside a dedicated alfresco space, the 4m by 3.2m plunge pool instantly fills the void, becoming part of the furniture in a matter of months thanks to the team at Buccaneer Pools.
âWe were restricted by limited room at the rear of our property, so we decided to use the front area for the pool,â the couple told New Homes.
âBuccaneer Pools had the design and colour we were looking for and we were aware they had great service and support.â
However, the entire project was a little more than just a pool installation, according to Buccaneer Pools Sales Development Officer Sarah Green.
âThe front yard of this home was originally a spill-over car parking area for the extended family,â Ms Green said.
âBoundary walls needed to be built, and the front verandah was extended before their dream pool was installed.â
Ideal for small spaces, Buccaneer Poolâs Capri design features a depth of 1.67m and includes an extended bench seat along the length of the pool, which provides the perfect spot to sit, relax and soak in the lush surroundings.
Surrounded by a travertine header and solid timber decking to complement the crisp blue interior, the new poolscape provides the homeowners with the perfect view from the alfresco and an additional space they can utilise in the warmer months.
âWe have loved hearing the comments from people who visit,â the couple said.
âIt clearly is a highlight of our property and it gets a lot of use due to the pool being heated.â
